Jarytza is a bilingual, bicultural member of the Latinx and LGBTQ+ community who noted gaps in services within these populations. They are a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a background in sociology and women and gender studies which enhances their ability to provide care with an intersectional lense that acknowledges individual experiences as well as systems that influence the well being of an individual. In therapy, they use a bottom-up therapeutic approach to process body and emotional sensations to trauma, anxiety, and experiences in daily life
