Biography

Therapy is about empowerment and hope, life can be difficult and it is sometimes hard to make that first step toward change. My goal is to partner to cultivate a hopeful and empowered perspective on life for all people. I use mindful living and creative techniques to assist in the healing process. It is important to learn how to live in the moment, much of our lives are lived in the past or in the future, and there are typically blocks that keep people in that state of future/past talk. Let's work together and navigate the present. In my graduate work I conducted research on the Latinx population along with LGBTQ+ specific issues. I use an eclectic approach to therapy that utilizes expressive arts as well as traditional CBT, DBT , Motivational Interviewing and ACT Therapies.

We are NOT a service provider.  The directory is meant to be only a resource for all those who identify as Latinx or have ancestral roots in Latin America and anyone engaged in advancing the human rights and dignity of Latinx migrant communities across the United States. This directory is a list of mental health professionals and not a recommendation or guarantee of quality service by LTAN.  We highly encourage everyone to research and consult directly with providers before beginning services with them to ensure it is a good fit.
